Duke 3D Online

Greets, TheChiaGod here. I'd like to convey my recent fixation on all things Nukem. Duke Nukem that is. For the past two nights I've had a blast playing Duke 3D online with other players from around the world. Coop, deathmatch, even team deathmatch.

I use a free third party software called Yang (Yet Another Netplay Guider) in order to facilitate finding others online and connecting to games. Very handy as it allows you to see other Duke games that are created and chat with other players. It also supports other games as well. (Shadow Warrior, Blood, etc)

You'll also need at least one of four source ports. Source ports are basically addons to Duke 3D that allow current gen Operating Systems to recognize the netcode. I use three different ones. The reason for this is because if another player sets up a room for Duke 3D and I don't have that particular source port, then I can't play with them. I'll list the source ports I use below.

-eDuke32-
-Duke3dw-
-xDuke- =Link Currently Broken=

If you have any problems trying to play, you can find me in Yang (name: TheChiaGod) and I'll be willing to help you out. Also you can join this site -Duke Nukem 3D Online- and find me on the forums.

Until Duke Nukem Forever comes out (which is looking to be around late 2011) I've found a good way to feel like I'm not outta gum.

We should be consistent with our perception of past, present and future; not only they themselves, but in relation to the others. The past keeps us within sight of lessons learned, the future keeps us within sight of our goals and the present keeps us within sight of ourselves. -TheChiaGod
